I don't know about you, but I've noticed that in this life you're going to be thrown some curveballs. Meaning, things may not always go the way you planned them to. Many unforeseen things that come our way can sometimes "catch us off guard". Jesus, in John 16:33 says, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

As a seasoned follower of Jesus Christ, I've come to learn that God requires us to grow in Him. This type of growth is all about maturity. You could be many years in the Faith, but still not have matured in the things of God. This growth or maturity is called spiritual stature. And helping others with this "growth" is called discipleship. God desires for us to have this spiritual stature in order to do the things that He has called us to. Sometimes as children of God, our Heavenly Father challenges us to increase our Faith by stepping out of the "norm" and mundane activities of our daily lives, in order to experience the supernatural where He is.
